We have been included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 list.
We have been included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 list.
We are thrilled to announce that we have been included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 list. It is fantastic to be recognized for being a great place for our people to work and thrive, and it is a significant milestone for our business.
Since CovertSwarm’s foundation in 2020, we have nurtured a positive and ‘radically candid’ culture by forming a diverse Swarm, who are expert offensive security practitioners, and share our passion and core values.
The recognition of everyone’s support to our culture is a credit to the team who have helped us to grow from a garden shed during the pandemic to a globally diverse, fully remote team of (a rapidly growing!) 50 people, across 11 countries.
We are continuing to scale and have the freedom to employ talent anywhere in the world, from Texas to Mumbai, and Glasgow to Buenos Aires – we seek the curious and relentless wherever they may be.
Most of our team are either Gen Z or Millennials, and we understand that being happy at work is of key importance to them (and us all!); we are constantly striving to maintain and evolve this by looking at new ways to boost our staff’s wellbeing and satisfaction across all our diverse teams.
Thanks to our flexible workstyle, our team is encouraged to work when they perform at their best, not only between 9am to 5pm! Our unlimited holiday allowance permits our people to take breaks when they need it, letting them work to live, not live to work.
Our unlimited training policy is designed so that our team can become their very best versions of themselves; allowing them a freedom to develop and encourage their curious minds to continuously expand their ethical hacking skills via a host of varied opportunities ranging from training, attending and presenting at conferences, to hosting events.
Plus, our perks are growing too, from private healthcare and pensions to revenue-linked bonuses and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes – we are constantly listening to our team to find out what they need and want.
Being 100% remote means no expensive office space, or daily commuting, which means we can instead get our global team together physically three times a year, at our internal SwarmCon events, to the internationally recognized annual DEFCON event in Las Vegas, USA. Here, our ethical hackers come together to share their ideas and learnings to inspire each other, as well as the newest generation who join us from our CovertSwarm Academy, which had its first intake in 2023 and is planned to bring in a larger cohort of eager and curious minds later in 2024.
Our remote workstyle is supported by a strong internal communication culture, which means we have a variety of Slack channels to discuss what’s important to us all (a lot of it is food and pets!) and we host regular gaming get togethers to allow us to have fun and virtually connect ‘outside of work’ when we are all very far apart geographically.
We are proud of our radically candid culture that sets a strict ‘no work politics’ and positive feedback tone, as we aim to keep things simple, direct and open.
