RAID.

Red Team AI Division

CovertSwarm has been quietly building its own agentic AI capability. RAID is the division responsible for that work.

One focused remit: to build and continuously advance the agentic capabilities of Constant Cyber Attack.

HOW IT WORKS

RAID’s agents, each with distinct personalities and dedicated tool sets, now form part of the Swarm. They handle reconnaissance, enumeration, surface mapping, and the groundwork at speed and scale, freeing our operators to focus on the lateral thinking, chained exploits, and creative judgment no model can replicate.

Questions about RAID and AI red teaming

What is AI red teaming?

AI red teaming is the practice of using artificial intelligence to augment offensive security operations, simulating the tactics, techniques, and speed of real-world adversaries. Where traditional red teaming relies entirely on human operators working through an engagement manually, AI red teaming introduces agents that handle high-volume, repetitive attack tasks at a scale and pace no human team can match alone. The result is a more consistent, more comprehensive test of your defenses, run continuously rather than at a point in time.

What is the purpose of AI red teaming?

The purpose is to match the threat. Real adversaries are already using AI to automate reconnaissance, accelerate attacks, and operate at a scale that outpaces conventional defences. A red team that doesn’t build and deploy equivalent capability can’t accurately simulate what your organization is actually up against.

What is an example of AI red teaming?

There are two distinct things people mean by this, and the difference matters. The first is using AI to test AI systems, probing large language models for prompt injection vulnerabilities, data leakage risks, or guardrail bypasses.

The second, and the one RAID is built around, is using agentic AI to conduct offensive security operations: automated reconnaissance, asset discovery, surface mapping, and credential analysis running continuously across your environment. RAID agents work through the groundwork of an attack at speed, surfacing exposures that would otherwise require significantly more human operator time to find.

Is RAID a replacement for human red teamers?

No. RAID exists to make CovertSwarm’s human operators more effective, not to replace them.

The agents handle reconnaissance, enumeration, and surface mapping at speed and scale. That frees our operators to focus on what still requires human judgment: lateral thinking, chained exploits, and the kind of creative adversarial reasoning no model can replicate.

The combination is what raises the quality floor. Neither works as well without the other.

How does RAID integrate with CovertSwarm’s constant cyber attack subscription?

RAID isn’t a separate product or add-on. It’s embedded in how CovertSwarm delivers constant cyber attack. When you subscribe, RAID’s agentic capability is already part of every engagement, running alongside our human operators from day one. You don’t need to request it or configure it separately.

How do I know what RAID is finding in my environment?

Everything surfaces through the CovertSwarm Portal. RAID findings are treated the same as any other discovery: live, prioritised, and visible in real time. You’re not waiting for a report at the end of an engagement. If RAID uncovers an exposure, it appears in your Portal as it’s found, with context and remediation guidance.

What is RAID already finding in environments like yours?

The discoveries they’re surfacing are, in some cases, exposures that would not have been found any other way.
